Everything I do comes back to the same thing: witnessing a person fully enough that they can see themselves clearly.

That's what I'm doing behind a camera, and it's what I'm doing with my hands on someone during a Reiki session, and it turned out to be what I wanted to do for the person pacing a hallway at 3am with a baby who will not settle. Nobody is witnessing that person. Everybody is looking at the baby.

So COO starts from the other end. Not here is something to play at your child, but here is something to put around both of you. The science underneath it, co-regulation, says the same thing in colder language: an infant cannot regulate alone, and borrows a steadier nervous system until they grow one. Which means the fastest route to a calmer baby runs through a calmer adult. The app is built in that order on purpose.

I made all of it. The playlists, the layering, the frequencies, the writing, the app itself. That is either reassuring or alarming depending on your temperament, but it does mean there is a person on the other end of the support form, and that person is me.
